  • What an incredible wedding week. 12 family members spent the week chatting, laughing, eating and drinking. On the loggia overlooking the valley two families became one over merry meals shared around one table. Our wedding ceremony had the most stunning backdrop of the hills and hillside towns, and we were in awe of the beauty. We cannot believe that a place such as this exists — quiet, pictorial, homey, and full of modern amenities. We’ve successfully joined our families together in the hills and grounds of Casa Castagna!

  • Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay at your magnificent Casa Castagna. You have such a beautiful Italian country house — so stylish and comfortable. We had a fabulous week! Highlights from an eating perspective were Pepe Nero and definitely the best night light was Chef Emanuele’s banquet dinner at the house — delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed visiting local towns as well as plenty of time by the pool relaxing and reading. Thank you again and hope we can come back one day soon.

  • It’s been an absolutely wonderful week here in Casa Castagna — this house is breathtakingly beautiful and absolutely perfect for making memories that will last a lifetime. 10 adults and 5 children here to celebrate Grandad John’s 70th birthday and this was the perfect place. Long afternoons by the pool, trip to the beach and exploring the nearby towns, table tennis, football, beautiful summer evening dinners outside around the big table. Utterly magical. With more than 4,500 square feet of refined living space, Casa Castagna offers ample room for hosting friends and family. Thoughtfully restored, the home showcases materials true to the region and its original era — featuring hand-laid cotto floors, brick and chestnut (castagna) ceiling beams, and authentic barn-style bedroom doors.  Each of the six bedrooms is named for a tree or plant found across the property’s five acres, adding a personal touch of local character. Outside, the pool and its sweeping views provide an idyllic setting for relaxation.
